Swipe to continue traveling around the world with ARF Summer Learning—it’s Europe Week! 🌍

ARF campers explored the rich cultures, traditions, and creativity of Europe through hands-on learning that brought the continent to life.

In Cooking, campers made delicious crêpes. 🍓 During PE, they learned the fundamentals of rugby. 🏉 In Community Service, they created beautiful mosaic gifts for their teachers, and in STEAM, they explored the work of famous European artists and sculptors before creating masterpieces of their own. 🎨

To wrap up the week, campers visited Laguna Gloria, where they wandered through the sculpture garden and experienced art in a whole new way. 🩵

At ARF, we believe every child deserves the chance to explore the world—even if they don’t have a passport. By sparking curiosity, creativity, and joy through immersive experiences, we’re helping youth broaden their horizons and discover a lifelong love of learning.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, our Summer Learning Program is completely free for all youth, making these meaningful experiences possible all summer long. 💙

Swipe to travel to ARF’s next continent of the summer, South America! 🌎

ARF campers’ journey around the world continued with South America Week, where they dove into the incredible biodiversity of the Amazon Rainforest. During STEM, campers learned about rainforest ecosystems before working together to create their own life-size rainforest, complete with the plants and animals they discovered along the way. 🌿🦜

Campers also explored South American culture in the kitchen by making pão de queijo, a traditional Brazilian cheese bread, before welcoming their families to experience the rainforest they created during a special family engagement event. The week wrapped up with a visit to Westcave Outdoor Discovery Ctr, where campers saw a waterfall that has been continuously flowing for more than 50 years, bringing their rainforest lessons to life.
