From near-extinction to the path of recovery: every species in this carousel is still here because people like you care a whole lot. Restoring habitat, enforcing protections, and conservation is a long-term commitment, not a short-term promise.

Not every species featured here has fully recovered or has even been delisted, and many still depend on the Endangered Species Act today, proof that this work is far from over, but critical not only to these individual species but to the ecosystems that depend on them.
