Sometimes the smallest moments make the biggest impact.

This summer, the One Day Closer team hosted a father-son event for Makarios families. They challenged every dad: "In the next 7 days, find something you know your son enjoys doing, then go do it with him."

The response was inspiring. One father taught his 17-year-old son how to ride a motorcycle. Another discovered his boys wanted to go swimming, so they spent the day together at the pool.

When fathers intentionally invest in their sons, families grow stronger—and healthy families make healthy communities.

What do our leaders actually do during the 9-month Equipping Program? They dig into the foundations of leadership and community—clarifying mission and vision, understanding the role of family in discipleship, and gaining practical tools to launch Family Empowerment Ministries in their schools. Our latest graduates are walking away equipped, empowered, and ready to make a real impact!
