Tuesday, December 9, at 2:00 pm (Central Time): helping to reduce health-related absences, keeping healthy kids at school, allows them to stay on-level. Attendance affects outcomes, not just academically but socially, and in the long term - physically. Tune in to learn more!
Kids can’t learn if they aren’t in school. Preventable health issues like asthma, anxiety, food insecurity, and limited access to care keep far too many students home.
On 12/9 the Campaign for Grade-Level Reading & Attendance Works are partnering for a session that will introduce a new toolkit from Johns Hopkins, National Association of School Nurses, and Attendance Works designed to help schools and communities take immediate action.
Hear from the authors and a panel of district and health leaders (Loma Linda University Health, Hall County School District) on what works to boost student well-being and attendance. Register & join us! https://bit.ly/3LkTvIy
