Lights, camera… camp. 🎬✨
This month’s Lost & Found series is bringing a q***r cinema classic back to the big screen: The Killing of Sister George.
Once scandalous, always iconic — this bold, messy, and wildly entertaining portrait of fame, love, and unraveling was famously slapped with an X rating simply for telling a le***an story.
Join us on March 25 for a night of q***r film history, camp excellence, and community. 💅

✨ Kick off 2026 with the first Q***r Cinema: Lost & Found series screening of the year! ✨
🎬 VIRGIN MACHINE
📅 January 11
In the neon Oz of San Francisco, German journalist Ina Blum sets out to study romantic love—and plunges headfirst into a world of desire, performance, and sexual discovery. Along the way she encounters a le***an strip-show barker, a drag king, and some delightfully kinky neighbors.
A fiercely controversial cult classic of le***an cinema, Virgin Machine once prompted Die Zeit to declare:
🗞️ “Films like Monika Treut’s are destroying cinema.”
🎥 Screening with a video introduction by Q***r Cinema: Lost & Found programmer Elizabeth Purchell.
🤝 aGLIFF is proud to be a community partner of this monthly series celebrating q***r voices and LGBTQ+ film history.
