Applications to masters' programs have continued to climb from 2021 to 2022.
> Colleges and universities exclusively offering master’s degrees saw an 18.8% increase in applications.
> Enrollment in master’s-level colleges and universities rose by 2.5%. In comparison, enrollments in doctoral programs declined by 6%.
> Nearly 3/4th of total graduate enrollments were in master’s programs (the rest in PhD, medical school, and other professional programs).
> Business, health sciences, and education programs had the largest enrollments.

Despite the increased applications for masters' programs and more difficult competition, we believe that GRE score averages at grad schools are holding steady, for now.
