Travis Foster is an Austin-based multi-instrumentalist and educator whose career is rooted in a deep-seated passion for the Texas blues tradition. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Travis blends technical mastery with the soulful, grit-driven influence of the Lone Star State’s musical heritage.

His professional journey includes a tenure with the Blue Man Group’s Live at Luxor in Las Vegas and years as the touring drummer for the Ian Moore Band. As a veteran session musician, he remains a staple of the Austin scene, consistently drawing inspiration from the legendary blues and roots artists that define the Texas sound.

Currently, Travis serves as the Artist in Residence for the Steve Hicks School of Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin. In this role, he explores the intersection of music and societal impact, bringing a seasoned professional perspective to community-focused advocacy and education.
