To the Norman Sims families and communities, I'd like to express heartfelt gratitude for allowing us to be part of your child's journey. As the outgoing Vice-President, I've had the privilege of witnessing the incredible growth and uplift of our community, and I'm thrilled to see the remarkable achievements we've made together as a PTA. We've created lasting traditions, including the school's inaugural Fall Trunk or Treat, Teacher Appreciation Week celebrations, thankful Thursdays for staff, and partnerships with esteemed organizations like Foundation Communities, African American Youth Harvest Foundation, Austin Community College, PBS KIDS and Central Texas Food Bank . Additionally, we've enjoyed being apart of literacy night performances, annual Cinco de Mayo festivities, and I was honored to co-coach the NSE cheer team. Remember, our journey is one of continued success! Thank you for allowing me, along with dedicated parent volunteers and colleague Alkeisha Black, Charles A. DeShay IIILindsay King Caugheyand Robbie Elyto be part of your experiences and memories.
