Well Beyond

It's World Water Day today, and millions still lack safely managed drinking water services. Observing this day means increasing awareness of water issues worldwide.

💧Nearly 2.2 billion people globally lack reliable access to safely managed drinking water.

💧Nearly 546 million children worldwide lack a basic drinking water service at their school.

💧Women and girls in developing countries walk an average of 3.5 miles every day to fetch water.

We are so grateful for the work WellAware has been able to do so far, improving access in rural communities, especially in schools, to clean water. And we look forward to managing and maintaining our partner and other NGOs water systems with the Well Beyond App. Ensuring the longevity of water projects for generations.

Happy International Women's Day! The Well Beyond App by Well Aware is proud to be the first maintenance and diagnostics app for rural water systems created and led by women.

We would also like to take today to thank all of our female partner community directors, water committee members and staff who dedictate their time to maintaining sustainable water systems.
