Story time: I just happened to see my son in deep thought and decided to capture this shot. When I looked up, I saw this elderly woman across the room sitting by herself, also in deep thought, and decided to capture that moment as well.
2 persons from different periods in life, young and old, both in the same room…in contemplation of life.

Also…I really love shooting in color then editing to B&W.
Definitely need to make a film noir short in B&W though.

Every time you postpone what you know you need to do, you’re making an active decision to stay in the same place.

Been on this “trying to create something” daily grind. No matter what it is, I must snap a pic, record a video, and put it out there. Doesn’t matter the platform. It’s great for practice, a creative outlet, and it’s fun for the little one cause he gets to get out of the house.

Oh, And it definitely has been helping generate contacts…which need to generate to Green.😂

Who knew one award winning doc would open offers to DP, not only one feature film, but 1 feature film and TV show. Not this guy but God is looking out for yah boy.

Sitting on 2 pitch decks, and wondering when or if these projects will make it through the bureaucracy. One has already raised half its 10 million budget and waiting to get green lit…the other is sitting on maybe👀maybe🤷🏽♂️maybe😤.

Frustrating when you know you’ve been here before and it fell through. But that is the reality of the film industry. One month everything is in planning, 3 months of back and forth, last minute, everything crashes and burns. Hopefully/pray things happen this time.
