What does semiconductor manufacturing have in common with a 3.5-mile race?
More than you’d think.
Success comes from preparation.
Progress comes one step at a time.
And nobody gets very far alone.
That’s why 28 employees joined nearly 8,000 participants in this year’s , one of the Capital Region’s most impactful community events.
Whether running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, our team showed up to support a cause that strengthens the community we call home!

Robots, teamwork, and a whole lot of future talent!
Through the 2026 season, showed up as mentors, judges, and sponsors. Helping hundreds of students push ideas further, solve real problems, and compete on a global stage.
From local competitions to the world stage, these students are building more than robots. They’re building the confidence and skills to be the next generation of engineers.
We can't talk about this event without congratulating one of our TEL mentors who was recognized as a Woodie Flowers Finalist! A reflection of what great mentorship looks like in action.
We can't wait for next year's competition!

Tokyo Electron (TEL) announced the launch of Prexa™ SDP, a device prober that meets the need for testing singulated devices.
As the demand for computing capability surges, advanced semiconductors used in high-performance computing (HPC) and AI applications increasingly require the latest 2.5D/3D packaging technology, which integrates multiple devices into a single chip. Improving the final yield of these products requires selecting Known Good Device (KGD) from a pool of singulated, unpackaged devices.
Challenges in the advanced KGD screening test include effectively absorbing heat and precisely controlling the temperature during testing. In addition to existing tests on entire wafers, high-precision testing of singulated devices will be essential.
The newly developed Prexa™ SDP device prober combines TEL's well-established wafer prober technology with its proprietary thermal control technology. The testing solution provides the superior testing quality and system reliability necessary for advanced packaging operations.
TEL will continue to develop innovative technologies and products to meet our customers' needs.
