I’m honored to have been recognized by as a top travel specialist for the 6th year in a row. This recognition belongs to the entire Small World Travel team for all of their amazing work this past year. We’re excited for all of the fabulous trips in the works for 2026 and beyond!

This holiday season, we are so grateful to work with partners that share our belief that travel has the power to make the world a better place. This year, in lieu of holiday gifts, Small World Travel made donations to the World Wildlife Fund & the Charles Darwin Foundation
after our trips to Greenland and Galápagos. We were then delighted to receive some surprises under the tree from two of our wonderful partners from different ends of the earth. Our friends at Journey Costa Rica planted a “Christmas tree” in our name, and we were delighted to learn that Africa Inscribed has sponsored five primary school children on our behalf.

Within driving distance of Lake Bled are 2 of Slovenia’s most beautiful natural areas. 1️⃣ The Soča Valley is all about the crystal clear, emerald water of the Soča River. For the adventure seekers, there is kayaking, white water rafting, and canyoning. For the fishers, the river is home to several varieties of trout. And 2️⃣ Bohinj, in the Triglav National Park, is part of the breathtaking Julien Alps. The area captivates visitors with its high mountains, lush forests, and beautiful mountain pastures & meadows.
