TikTok has been a hot topic on the podcasts I listen to and in the news. Last night I caught a decent portion of the 60 Minutes segment on TikTok (side note: watching 60 Minutes confirms that I'm turning into my father) - did you get a chance to watch? Small and local businesses, stand proud! Don't forget to market that you're local, you're veteran/women/BIPOC owned, and what your values are. You'll attract customers who align and, more importantly, will remain LOYAL!

A few updates on Facebook and Instagram over the past week:

- Facebook/Instagram dropped location search and tagging from its API. Meaning your third party tools will not be able to add locations to posts.

-Instagram has *temporarily* removed it's "recent" tab within the Discovery function, meaning it'll only show the top posts of any tags. Yes, this has to do with the US election and therefore only impacts US users.

-Facebook Ads Manager has removed its demographics and placements breakdowns from the main "campaign tab" and is placing it else. TBD on where that's moving to (aka I haven't had a second to find it yet)

-Instagram reactions on a story are moving OUT of your DMs and will live on the story itself. Hurry for a less cluttered Insta inbox!
