Holy Week

On this first Sunday in Lent, we pray that during our own times of testing, God may be our spiritual nourishment, showing authority in our lives, so that we may hunger for righteousness and live in peace and safety, worshiping and serving God.

The Center for Lifelong Learning at Austin Seminary invites you to our Celebration of Black History Concert on Thursday, February 26, at 7:00 p.m., in the McCord Community Center! More than a free concert, this gathering is a celebration of Black history and culture, featuring THE LEVITES, who are returning to Austin Seminary for a second year in a row to offer gospel music with their unique sound and vibe!

Join us as we lift our voices together, honoring the music that once gave and continues to give so many communities hope and joy! Light refreshments will be provided, and a good time is most certainly guaranteed.

As we enter the final week of Advent, our theme Advent Under the Rubble continues to call us to look for hope, peace, joy, and love where they are most needed. Across this season, we have listened for where Christ is being born now, in communities resisting violence, practicing accompaniment, standing in solidarity with Palestine, and shaping what it means to be a Peace Church in a world marked by empire.
