There are three stages of consumption during a home-buying process:

1️⃣ Casual coffee while you and your real estate agent get to know each other. Sips are very respectful or used as a prop to help you think. You’re optimistic.

2️⃣ You frantically chug your third coffee trying to remember all the terminology your real estate agent taught you, organizing your pro-and-con list, and realizing that if you want your dream home you’d have to have at least 27 rooms and have 27x the amount of savings.

3️⃣ You calmly sip your coffee as you sign the very last document on Closing Day. Sips are now a breath of fresh air again, but… maybe you take a break from the caffeine and get some sleep now.
