Happy International Women's Day! I want to celebrate my beautiful mother Julia Hurtado (who takes Optimize Neurology afternoon clinic calls remotely and works hard to help our patients every day!) and who has been an inspiration and role model for me throughout life. She has shown me how dynamic being a woman is: that we can be strong, nurturing, thoughtful, expressive, problem-solvers, and ever resilient. I am fortunate that I also get to be a role model for my beautiful daughter who will become an amazing woman no doubt!
