Meet The Fall Interns:
Cassie Garcia is a senior at the University of Texas at Austin where she is majoring in Psychology and English with a minor in social and behavioral sciences. After graduation, she hopes to continue her education by completing a master's and/or doctorates in Psychology. Her professional goal is to become a board-certified clinical psychologist and provide mental health services to both children and adults.

Meet The Fall Interns:
Lorena Aguilar is a junior at the University of Texas at Austin where she is pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Public Health and a certificate in Spanish for Health Professionals. Her interests include health literacy for Spanish-speaking patients and preventative health as it pertains to nutrition. Upon completion of her bachelors, Lorena intends to obtain a Masters of Public Health with a concentration in nutrition and later attend medical school to ultimately combine medicine with public health and nutrition as a primary care physician. Her professional goal is to improve the communication and relationships between physicians and Hispanic patients as well as support future medical professionals who come from backgrounds that are underrepresented in medicine.
