When I was a child, no more than 7 or 8, my uncle built a 1:72 scale model of a section of the siege works of Alesia on an old door. And so the seed was planted.

In the twilight hours of a hot summer day in 2013 5000 pint-sized Celts led by Davnoros the Bald ambushed a cohort of young but courageous Roman recruits under the questionable authority of one Aaronious the Hasty. Though the young Romans fought bravely they could not resist the sheer numbers of the foe, and were forced to retreat to quarters. The survivors will return in 2014 with a foam vengeance.
