There are two reasons people remain in relationships with psychos and meanies and losers and abusers

The first reason:

It’s all we know.

We aren’t taught what a truly healthy relationship looks like in schools or in culture or on tv.

Everything shoved into our heads is devoid of truth and experience.

We are entirely brainwashed into believing total falsehoods about what we should want and how to get it.

Millions or billions of people, lost.
Suffering

Immeasurable unhappiness
in every corner
of every inhabited place on the planet.

It pervades every circle, every family, every workplace - there is always someone under society’s sick spell.

Doomed to a lifetime of loneliness or longing.

Never satisfied, never appreciated.
Never connected.
Never fulfilled.

The second reason people settle in their relationships:

They believe they deserve it.
“This is the best I can get”

A self esteem deficiency at its core

Many don’t believe that they deserve to be adored.
To be worshipped.

There is a hidden dream inside them,
a secret self whom yearns to exist.

And they have stifled this Boss inside themselves for years.

Maybe as long as they can remember.

This person inside them does everything right. They never fail. They’re never scared. They always win.

The longer this Boss Self is imprisoned,
the more we forget who we really are.

We start to believe we are the loser.

Our habits start to reflect it.

We stop going to the gym (or never start).

We give up on our financial dreams because of the perceived difficulty.

We settle into stale, toxic relationships with people who merely “tolerate” us.

Never adored.

If you decide to take the necessary steps in order to adore your Self…

Defining those hazy and vague standards,
reverse engineering the roadmap, and
becoming who you truly wish you were…

You will believe.
You will know.
You will worship your Self.

And then, you will never settle for anything less.
