Like many, Kris Kristofferson’s passing affected us, we had just started playing a few of his songs for our h***y tonk set, and Buckley and I whipped up this cover that we were very proud of but didn’t really have a home. When and reached out looking for covers and songs for a compilation of Austin artists to help benefit those affected in NC by the hurricanes we knew this would be a perfect place for it.
