Doss Elementary PTA

The 1st Annual Doss vs. Hill Staff Kickball Game commenced today, and it did not disappoint. It was so fun to see the Owls and Dillos come together for a little friendly competition before celebrating the end of another great school year at Tony C’s afterward.

When it came time to find a sponsor for the event, we knew exactly who to call: Austin Realtor Lindsay Neuren, Doss mom and Hill PIE sponsor, whose love for both school communities runs deep.

We also recruited Billy Newberry as head umpire, not only because of his elite kickball expertise, but because his family ties to both campuses made him the perfect fit. His daughter works at Doss, and his mother was a longtime sub at Hill.

The Dillos may have brought the fanfare, but the Owls brought the power kicks, taking home the win 12–4.

Huge shoutout to Principal Sheridan and Principal Drummond for leading their staffs through another incredible school year!
