UT MSAI Spotlight: Carter Leslie 🎓 

Reflecting on his journey through the program: I thought I was going to be on my own for the majority of the class but soon discovered that there’s a very active UTMSAI discord group, along with separate channels for each class. Through them, I was able to find a community to be a part of while pursuing my degree. It’s truly been an honor and a pleasure working with, learning from, and even helping teach some of my classmates as I got further into the program. 

Currently a software engineer at USAA, Carter plans to transition into an AI/ML engineering role upon completion of his degree. Looking ahead, he is motivated to apply AI in ways that improve people’s lives across industries like healthcare, autonomous systems, and beyond. Congratulations Carter! 🤘
