Music is so very important!

It is an instrument of peace and fellowship. It is the universal and privileged language: music makes us grow. It opens the heart and mind. It teaches us about beauty. It helps us to overcome difficulties and to increase our trust in others. Discovering the laws that govern it, cultivating it, should be an important and accessible part of everyone’s education.

We celebrate the “National Week of Music at School” in the firm belief that the study of music is a valuable educational opportunity. That is why, in the Bocelli Foundation’s schools, we try to bring music and art back to the heart of our students’ education. This is a format that we hope will be increasingly used as an example by other schools.
