Meet our next featured chef for Building Good Work Together: Chef Jess Simpkin of L'Oca d'Oro!

Originally from Fort Collins, Colorado, Chef Jess Simpkin has spent her career building a deep appreciation for local, seasonal ingredients and the people behind them. After moving to Austin, she honed her craft in some of the city's most respected kitchens, including East Side Cafe, Gardner, Chicon, and Dai Due, before becoming Chef de Cuisine at L'Oca d'Oro.

Today, Jess leads L'Oca d'Oro's ever-evolving menu, creating bold, playful dishes while staying true to her passion for fresh, locally sourced ingredients. As a founding restaurant member of Good Work Austin and one of our dedicated Community Kitchen partners, L'Oca d'Oro has helped prepare nourishing meals for our neighbors while demonstrating what it means to lead with community. We're proud to celebrate Chef Jess and the entire L'Oca d'Oro team.

Join us on August 25 at Still Austin for an unforgettable evening where you'll have the chance to meet Chef Jess, talk with her, and enjoy a dish created by one of Austin's most talented chefs.
