NEW POEM: Philosophical Rhetoric at the LaQuinta Inn

At a Laquinta Inn,
Smashed between a strip club,
and a Tesla Collision Center,
My life is falling apart,
Or maybe its coming together?

I take a walk round the block.
If god is real --- she is a woman,
Delving spoonfuls of hope,
From a crushed cyber truck engine.

Blessed Be, to whichever deity birthed karma.

On sunday, ice raided the gentlemen's club.
Now, they wont even let the boys have fun?
A platform heel abandoned in the street,
Is all that remains from the struggle.

I find it on my way home,
Sharp and pink,
I slide it on, like a glass slipper.

It transform me to a real one,
One all the men gab about,
As they grope their way to heaven.

I'm a modern day cinderella.
Pain exchanged,
for a
Pretty,
Crisp,
Dollar.
