Another off market closing and we fought for this one all the way to the closing table. But that’s ok because when it’s “the one” you fight. This family has such a personal story that I’ll protect and not share but a reminder to me how personal and raw this business really can be. Whew! I was nervous about this house because my sweet clients only purchased it in September 2020 but due to age and health reasons, they needed to sell to move to Dallas closer to family. Typically when a buyer sells that soon, they're upside down and lose money on the sale but not in this case. We actually listed higher than they purchased and still had 8 offers in all above asking resulting in a 13% increase over the list price. I think my sellers are still stunned!
