I thought I would share the story of the beginning as I finally open the door after thirty years to the possibility of clients that are not referrals. It feels like a new beginning. I started doing readings for money in January 1994. One day, unexpectedly, someone I didn’t know called me and said, “I heard you do readings”. I replied, “Oh, I only do them for friends.” She then said she would pay me. I said, “Okay.” The whole thing made me uncomfortable. I mean, if I take money, maybe I would lose the gift. I had been practicing on friends for the last four years, but not once did it occur to me that I should charge. It was something I loved doing and I could never imagined that it could be a source of income. With some reluctance, I did that reading and felt okay about it. Thought it was a one and done kind of thing. It was not. The same week I got another phone call asking about doing a reading. My response was the same. She said, “I’ll pay you.” She had no connection to the other person that I had just seen. WAIT… maybe this is the universe trying to tell me something. And so it had begun.
That first year, I had a client that had a holistic center. She asked me to teach intuition there. I told her, “You understand I have only done this for a year right? I couldn’t possibly teach it.” She insisted. Thirty years later with all the amazing things I do in my life, teaching intuition and doing readings, makes me the happiest. 99% of my clients have always been referrals. I love that because when people come in, they know how I work. When I started, I would look at Tarot cards and get messages. I never learned Tarot, I would just hear messages. Around ten years ago, I realized I was no longer looking at the cards, so…I stopped using them. Now, I just ask my clients why they are here. Then we start talking. My entire communication is intuitive, I am just repeating what I hear. My clients get all their concerns answered and I never remember any of it. I have settled into working that way and I like it. Once again, thank you for your vote. New clients that could never have found me otherwise, might be on the horizon. I can’t wait.

I am back from an amazing vacation in Hawaii and I will be here all summer staying out of the heat. I have no date planned for my next classes but will start doing them as soon as I have enough people that are interested. This is for both the 6, now 7, week intuition class and the weekend intensive class. Please tell anyone that you know that might be interested to contact me. Also I am going to have my relationship support group for women again if there is enough people that are interested interested in that group. I haven't done one of those in what seems like forever. All the info about that group is on my website. Some of you have attended before so if any of you have questions about it, maybe someone that has taken it can answer from a participants perspective. I used to require that the attendees be former students. I no longer require that. I'm excited about being rested and being home for a while. Looking forward to teaching and doing a whole lot of readings. I love doing the work and can't think of a better way to spend my time.
