Watch out for SCAMMERS!

Rolled up on one of my account's locations to put their storefront back on the district master key system. This particular district is on Best SFIC. For some reason no one can understand, one of the ladies in the office called a 24/7 scammer out to rekey the lock. The scammer sold them this $6 mortise cylinder for $147... that 147 is only for this new "high security" lock. The total invoice was over $600 just to swap a mortise cylinder on an AdamsRite bolt on an aluminum storefront door.
Fekkin' Scammers gonna scam, I guess 🀷
She thought she was going to pay him from petty cash but there wasn't enough. She used her personal card thinking the company would reimburse her. They did not πŸ˜‚ They told her it was not needed or approved.
But the company did pay me to replace the cheap cylinder with a new mortise housing and new core keyed to their system.
