A dry month can reveal more than expected—patterns, triggers, and stressors that substances once covered. For some, that awareness becomes the bridge to deeper support. Intensive Outpatient treatment helps turn insight into skills, structure, and long-term change. Bee Cave Recovery offers professional care while allowing you to continue working, parenting, and living your life.

This lovely lady serves as our Business Manager at Bee Cave Recovery. Denise Anderson started out creating our logo and helping with our first fundraiser. Since then, her role has expanded to keep up with the growth of our IOP.
Denise is new to the recovery industry and like many of us through our own lived experiences, she has also been impacted. Alcoholism is a family disease and those around the alcoholic are affected. She brings perspective and insight to essential aspects of our programming. We are glad to have her here.
If you are someone you love needs help, please call us and we can talk with you.

This great guy right here is not only our Executive Director, but he recently celebrated his 20th year of sobriety. As Jim Anderson tells us, “There’s a moment when we concede to our innermost selves that we are an alcoholic and God opens a door for us. Don’t be afraid to go through that door. On June 24, 2001, I saw that door open and I wasn’t afraid to go through it. I threw out all my vodka bottles and entered treatment with an Intensive Outpatient Program the next day. Two and a half weeks later, I was in my apartment in California and laid back on my bed staring at the ceiling thinking I wanted to drink, but I didn’t want to drink. I asked God for help and he removed the obsession and it hasn’t returned. From that moment, I got busy and I worked the steps. Once you make the decision, you turn your life over to the care of God. It was God’s help but also my action. The steps are all about action. You can’t sit idly by, it requires total effort with complete abandon.”
Jim’s sobriety date is June 24, 2001.
