Let's talk about boosting milk production...
It is a farmer's goal to have a cow with high milk production.It cannot happen having key considerations and guideline.Consider these👇
1.Allow your cow to feed on clean pasture daily for about 3-6 hours.
2.Provide your cow with unlimited clean water.
3.Provide grain meal,hay or silage about 4-6Kgs daily.
4.Before milking provide dairy meal of about 2.5-4kgs depending on production rate.
5.Control both Endo and ectoparasites which could lower Production.Use Eprinomectine.
6.Avoid direct lactation of the calves.
7.Provide mineral supplements such as salt licks.
8.Practice high level of cow shed hygiene by cleaning dungs and changing dumpy beddings.
