One of the most common questions I hear this time of year is whether treatments can still be done during the spring and summer months.
In many cases, yes — but treatment selection becomes more important as sun exposure and outdoor activity increase.
This season, I often focus on treatments that support skin quality, collagen, and overall skin health with minimal downtime, such as Laser Genesis, dermaplaning, Pellevé, and microdermabrasion.
For some patients, treatments like Agnes RF or NOUVADerm may still be appropriate depending on timing, lifestyle, and ability to properly protect the skin afterward.
Spring and summer treatment planning is usually less about aggressive correction and more about maintenance, prevention, and gradual refinement.

When it comes to skin quality, there usually isn’t one treatment that does everything.
Concerns like texture, dullness, uneven tone, congestion, and collagen decline all affect the skin differently — which is why I often take a layered approach to treatment planning.
Depending on the patient, this may include treatments that exfoliate, support collagen, improve circulation, refine texture, or stimulate overall skin renewal.
By combining treatments thoughtfully, we’re able to support the skin from multiple angles and create results that look gradual, balanced, and natural over time.
Healthy skin is rarely about doing the most.
It’s usually about consistency and choosing the right combination for your skin.

NOUVADerm is not a one-size-fits-all treatment — and it’s not always about correcting severe damage.
In my practice, this treatment is often best suited for patients looking to improve overall skin quality, including:
• uneven texture
• sun damage
• dullness
• fine lines
• early collagen decline
The goal is not to dramatically change the skin overnight, but to support healthier, smoother, more refined skin over time.
As with any resurfacing treatment, timing, skin condition, and lifestyle all play a role in determining candidacy.
Consultations allow us to determine whether this approach makes sense for your skin and goals.
