Travis County’s Innovative Justice and Program Analysis invites you to step into that experience through the Reentry Roundtable System Simulation an interactive opportunity to walk through the day-to-day realities of individuals navigating reentry.

This powerful, eye-opening experience sheds light on the real challenges, barriers, and critical decisions justice-impacted individuals face as they rebuild their lives. It’s more than an event, it’s a chance to deepen understanding, strengthen compassion, and spark meaningful change.

At Travis County Justice Planning Reentry Services, we believe a past mistake shouldn’t define someone’s future. We are proud to offer vocational training opportunities for men and women with criminal backgrounds and barriers to employment, helping individuals gain the skills they need to build stable and successful lives.

Our programs provide training and certification opportunities in high-demand careers, including:
🔧 HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning)
🔧 Plumbing
🚛 CDL – Commercial Driver’s License
🦷 Dental Assistant

These programs are designed to equip participants with industry-recognized certifications, hands-on training, and a pathway to meaningful employment.

Travis County Reentry Services offers a wide range of reentry services to help formerly incarcerated individuals successfully reintegrate into the community, including:
✅ Employment & Career Support
Job search assistance, résumé building, interview prep, connections to second-chance employers, and selected no-cost vocational programs to help participants build livable wage careers.

🏠 Housing Assistance
Transitional housing support with fees covered for selected providers to help individuals secure stable living arrangements.

🤝 Case Management & Peer Support
At least six months of case management to help navigate barriers related to employment, housing, healthcare, and education — plus certified peer specialists for ongoing guidance.

💡 Life Skills & Financial Literacy
Private and group sessions focused on soft skills, emotional intelligence, and financial literacy for long-term success.

🪪 Legal & Identification Assistance
Help obtaining essential documents like birth certificates, driver’s licenses, Social Security cards, and enhanced library cards.
