On National Farmworkers Day, we honor the individuals who power our food supply chains and call for the protection of their rights and dignity. Earlier this year, we collaborated with TIME Ideas Editor, , to publish this piece elevating ’s voice as an advocate for migrant women, bringing key issues to the forefront of national conversations. Her thoughtful op-ed continues to be timely, shining a light on the thousands of victims of sexual assault whose names will never make headlines, but whose stories deserve to be heard.

Wow, where does the time go!? I started when this agency was just getting off the ground, a “small but mighty team,” we liked to say. Somehow that turned into a full decade and all of my twenties. I grew up here. Every step shaped how I think, lead, and show up in the world. Today, alongside an incredible group of sharp, intuitive, and driven women, I am most grateful for the relationships we’ve built.
