I posted my first IG video here a year ago. I was tired, nervous, and didn’t know what I was doing. Since then, I’ve learned so much about how to convey what I’m thinking into what I’m saying. To speak through all the repeats, and keep trying even if the uncertainty of skills was maddening. I was so afraid of people being mean, too. I was learning to be in the spotlight.
What I learned over the last year was not only was I good at discussing important ADHD and autism topics, people were very nice about my videos. I’m so appreciative looking back at this journey. So this video is about what it means to be in front of the camera, the struggles you did not see, and my gratitude for all y’all who have watched me grow right in front of your eyes.
