A lot of late diagnosed ADHD autistic adults grew up confused by social rules they couldn't naturally pick up, while also being told they were awkward, shy, weird, incoherent.

What changed for me wasn't becoming a new person. It was increasing safety, and learning what spaces I felt comfortable and relaxed in. I was learning how to accept myself and with time, how to more easily speak in any space.
I had to relearn some of these skills once I got on camera but the learning was rewarding too. It helped me match who I felt I was, with who people saw. It's been healing.

Of course, if you want support understanding your own ADHD autistic experience with more clarity and self compassion, you're welcome to book a call with me.

Most autistic people dislike vague questions because of the lack of specifics.

The more context you give, the easier it is for us to answer. So if you’re dating someone autistic, try to increase specificity for the purpose of clarity.

If you want support navigating your ADHD and autism in relationships, you’re welcome to book a call.

Autism doesn’t have one look, one personality, or one type of interest.

A lot of people still unconsciously associate autism with narrow stereotypes: male, white, introversion, technical interests, low charisma. So when an autistic person doesn’t match that image, people assume they aren’t autistic.

Being funny, expressive, stylish, or socially skilled does not cancel out autism. It simply means autistic people are human beings with a wide range of personalities and presentations.

If you want support understanding autism beyond stereotypes, you’re welcome to book a call.

Late diagnosis can brings clarity but also grief and confusion. Moving into the identity integration stage can change everything you know about your life. So this is the point where you might start making big decisions: what you can do, what you won't do. Who you say no to, who you say yes to.
It's not just self acceptance. It's reworking your relationships around it. And from here, another life can begin.
If you want support navigating this stage in a way that protects your energy, you're welcome to book a call.

Having friends with various neurodivergent traits can be hilarious when it involves time blindness. Same time. Same place. Same misunderstanding. But at least we have our outfits planned.

You might hear about an interest in structure for ADHD, autism, and AuDHD. But how does it differ for the three?

- ADHD often uses structure as an external container for memory and follow through.
- Autism tends to find structure regulating. It lowers overwhelm and supports predictability.
- AuDHD can want structure but struggle to maintain it. Building it can be exciting but the upkeep can be really hard.

Understanding which driver is yours changes how you set and maintain systems in your life.
