we don't own words, they are ours to borrow
words are just ideas, given a form
once you speak them, they will be prone to grow
if they are spicy - they may cause a storm
communication is like that no lie
you can't get back the tea spilled from the cup
Your words go on to live they do not die
be careful when you decide to speak up
sticks and stones my butt, words can really hurt
take care that you are not cruel by mistake
forgive me if with you i seem quite curt
your sense of ownership makes my head ache
words have power, DO use them consciously
be cautious with the words that you set free
