HawkEye Media is an aerial photography and low altitude aerial cinematography company based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas.
Here is a short documentation video we recently created for an HVAC company. We needed to document the use of a helicopter from 5 State Helicopters setting a new AC unit on top of Grapevine Mills Mall, right underneath the approach path to DFW airport. Took some planning and paperwork with the FAA to pull this one off.

On the road again, setting up time-lapse cameras in the Austin area!
I've been working on an update to a series of aerial panoramics I did back in 2008 of the Hurricane Ike damage to the Bolivar Peninsula on the Texas Coast. This past summer I recreated the original images to show the contrast between the damage in 2008 and how well the peninsula has bounced back.
There are images from 11 locations, shot at two altitudes in 2008 and 2017.

Never really said much about this, but since I'm photographing it for my updated website, I might as well toot my own horn a little bit.
Back in 2014 I piloted a UAV (drone) for a short PSA about the Palo Duro Canyon. The film eventually earned a Lone Star Emmy, which I think is pretty cool, especially because the video was 100% drone aerial footage.
