2:20 AM - South Fork of the San Gabriel River at Georgetown has now reached moderate flood stage.

Updated forecast calls for a crest early Saturday morning at 14.5 feet.

River flood warning for the San Gabriel remains in effect.

10:27 PM - More heavy rain now moving over the Leander area where 4”-6”+ has already fallen. This will worsen ongoing flooding. Turn around don’t drown. Full update coming up after the postgame on KVUE.

5:43 PM - Our first Flash Flood Warning of the night has been issued for western Williamson County into eastern Burnet until 10 PM.

We really need to watch this area. 2 to 4 inches of rain have already fallen and more heavy rain is developing.

Have a way to get flood alerts this evening. Monitor alerts closely if in a flood prone area, and never drive through flooded roads.
