Our small business training program hosted by City of Austin is growing! We're excited to announce that the city has added a third certificate ceremony in 2025 to accommodate the program's growth. Over the past year, class sizes have more than doubled and the reviews are exciting (Google Austin Economic Development & read some of them!) So a summer graduation was recently approved. Anyone completing the 18-hour six course series by August 7th will be eligible to participate in this added session. The next one will round up in December. PS - most classes are offered both in person and virtual, and you don't have to live in Austin to participate!

We're looking for leaders. Austin Fire Department will open up fire fighter applications this month. AFD is seeking highly motivated persons interested in joining a group of highly trained individuals that serve the Austin community and surrounding area.
