Eric Beckerman for Selectman

I wanted to take this opportunity to give the people of the town an insight into my priorities.

If I am elected to your Board of Selectmen, my top priorities will be the following:

1) review the current police contract and do everything I can to get this current.

2) hire police personnel. We NEED more officers on the streets

3) meet with all department heads and see where we can trim the budget even further in order to reduce the burden on the taxpayers.

4) work closely with our current boards and committees to bring unilateral communication to our town government

5) hold public informal forums to get the “views of the people. As a Selectman, I feel that you can’t truly serve the people without listening to the concerns and opinions of the people that TRULY run this town.

I would be happy to discuss these goals in greater detail upon request. I have said all along that I do not presume to have all the answers but I will try my hardest to resolve some of the biggest issues facing our town through communication and transparency.
