🟣Name: Havarti
🟣Breed: DSH
🟣Gender: Female
🟣DOB: 02/18/2026

Meet miss Havarti! This gorgeous orange tabby female is nothing short of perfection. After her and her siblings were surrendered, she simply blossomed in foster care and has adapted well in a chaotic environment (lots of other pets, children, etc.). Havarti is always on the move, loving to explore and get into mischief. She has no fear and lets her curiosity guide her. Because of her high social needs, her future home will need to have another cat, or be adopted with another kitten as a pair. This beauty is very friendly with people but may take a day or so adapting to a new dog.

💜Havarti is litterbox trained. She is good with other cats and dogs and children!

💜Being fostered in Buckeye.

💜ADOPTION FEE of $160 includes: Vet exam(s), age appropriate vaccines, deworming, nail trims, probiotics, microchipping and registration, and spay.

🟣Name: Cortina
🟣Breed: DMH
🟣Gender: Female
🟣DOB: 01/01/2026

Cortina and her siblings were brought to our rescue when they were just weeks old and have been growing by leaps and bounds during their time in foster care. Cortina is the last kitten in her litter and she’s eager to find her own path in this world.

She is a little shy at first, but quickly warms up when she feels safe. Then she becomes as attached as a shadow, especially if you’re a man! Cortina is super sweet but has a feisty side once she’s eager to play.

💜Cortina is litterbox trained. She is good with other cats and dogs but hasn’t been exposed to children.

💜Being fostered in Litchfield Park.

💜ADOPTION FEE of $160 includes: Vet exam(s), age appropriate vaccines, deworming, nail trims, probiotics, microchipping and registration, and spay.

‼️INTAKE ALERT‼️

Our deepest apologies for not updating our page consistently, and we are working on improving our social media presence.

In the meantime, we would like to welcome our newest fosters!

We just received -7- orange tabbies (3 girls, 4 boys) that are roughly 5 weeks old. They are currently unavailable for adoption, as they still need to be vetted and grow. We encourage interested parties to keep an eye out on our website or adoption posts.

Welcome to Halfway Home, little cheese puffs! 💜

We couldn't do this without our village!
Thank you to Dr. Casida and her staff at Desert Rose Animal Hospital for the incredible care!

🟣Name: Daisy
🟣Breed: DMH
🟣Gender: Female
🟣DOB: 05/26/2025

What a stunning presence! This beauty is Daisy! She was found getting dumped by other people at a gas station by a homeless man and then we took her in to our rescue shortly after. We may not know her story but what we DO know, is that Daisy is not letting her past define her.

Daisy has a confident yet soft personality, and very much enjoys cuddles and being held. However she doesnt like being contained. Like most kittens, she is curious and likes to explore. She would love a family with kids or other pets!

Daisy is litterbox trained. Good with other cats and coexists with the calm dog in the home. Unknown with children.

💜Being fostered in Litchfield Park.

💜ADOPTION FEE of $160 includes: Vet exam(s), age appropriate vaccines, deworming, nail trims, probiotics, microchipping and registration, and spay.

UPDATE!!!

We have to push the surgery to the 12th since the vet had an emergency this morning that took way longer than expected. Elara is doing well and is very comfortable, should something chance we will do it sooner. By the 12th she can spayed at the same time as well and we won't have to put her under twice plus it gives us more time to fundraise. Thank you so much to everyone who has donated already. You're truly making a difference.

‼️DONATIONS NEEDED‼️
*warning, graphic photo*

Please take a moment to read about Elara and donate to her cause, though we understand her photos can be considered graphic. We saw her originally being posted in a local Facebook group where the finder was searching for help. We urged her to reach out to us and within hours, Elara came to be part of the Halfway Home family.

It’s obvious that Elara is suffering, though from advanced URI or ocular trauma, we cannot say for certain. After being evaluated by the veterinarian, we have come to the sad conclusion that Elara must undergo surgery to remove the bulging mess that used to be her eye. Her surgery date is scheduled for December 31st and is being kept comfortable with pain medication and antibiotics in the meantime.
Despite feeling crummy and getting used to foster care, this tiny warrior continues to never stop purring and fighting to get better. We humbly ask for donations, no matter how small, to assist our tiny organization in advocating for Elara’s health and well being.
