Using a surrogate for a distance Reiki session can be a wonderful tool for human and animal Reiki. These are the steps for using a Teddy Bear or stuffed animal, but you could use a pillow, cloth or paper with an outline of a person or animal, some people use their own body or simply place their hands on their lap! While a surrogate may not be necessary for distance Reiki to work, it sure can be a helpful tool as a practitioner!
