Today, we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, and father figures who help build strong families, strong communities, and a strong future.
Whether you're teaching lessons on the jobsite, leading by example at home, or passing on the values of hard work, dedication, and integrity, your impact reaches far beyond the work you do each day.
To all the dads in the construction industry and throughout our Laborers family, thank you for the sacrifices you make, the wisdom you share, and the foundation you provide for the next generation.

Women in Construction - May 26, 2026
We are thankful to our women in construction who joined us Tuesday evening for a night of mock interviews and a meditation workshop. We hope both workshops brought you some comfort in being kind to yourself and provided a confidence boost in speaking about yourself.
Griffith Company, PCL Construction, Highlight Electric, and G&F Concrete Cutting; thank you for assisting with the mock interviews. This was an invaluable experience for everyone in attendance.
Thank you to all our contractors and vendors who support our Women in Construction events quarterly! Your presence is necessary and does not go unseen.
We had special guests: Justin Kanter, Senior Superintendent at PCL Construction, and Shelly Irvine, CFO of Metro Builders, who joined us to share how their companies have embraced diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
