Travel Baseball Tryouts

Want to take your baseball skills to a higher level? Well here's your opportunity. Take advantage to try out to be a 2026/2027 BSPA Scotties travel baseball player.

We are currently looking for players and coaches in the following age groups:
8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U and 14U

Age group based on age before May 1st of 2027.

Please make sure to select the correct age your player will be trying out for.

Tryouts will be the weeks of 7/20 and 7/27 and official dates for each age group will be announced soon.

Our 8U level travel team will be a coach pitch division. This way players can focus on batting and fielding skills without having the stress of learning to pitch as well. This is to build up young athletes' confidence and love for the game. We want players to be competitive but also have fun at the same time.

Fall Season cost (if participating) - $100-$400 per player

Spring/Summer Season - $200-$800 per player

⚾️ What an unforgettable night for our players at the Amsterdam Mohawks game! ⚾️

These kids were on an absolute high from the moment they arrived. They had the incredible opportunity to take the field with the players, participate in a light scrimmage, and every child got a chance to hit and run the bases!

One of the most special moments of the night was seeing some of our players help carry the giant American flag across the field during the National Anthem. 🇺🇸 It was an experience they will never forget.

The fun didn’t stop there! Throughout the game, our players participated in on-field games between innings, creating memories and plenty of laughs for both the kids and the adults.

A huge thank you to the Amsterdam Mohawks for welcoming our league, signing baseballs and celebrating youth baseball. It was truly an amazing evening, and we are so grateful for the memories made! ❤️⚾️

Don’t forget—tomorrow, Tuesday, June 23, Ballston Spa Jr. Baseball joins with the Amsterdam Mohawks!
