Because I hate the scale with a passion, I didn’t even realize the way my body has changed in this past year. I choose to move daily because it grounds my mind, it releases pent up energy, and honestly the activities kill a lot of time (this is what happens when your kids are grown)
I choose to move daily because I refuse to think that my body can no longer do things just because I’m a certain age or have become sore in an area. I choose to train it and test it a little further.
I was scrolling through photos last night and was actually surprised to see what a difference this last year of mindful movement has made. I guess I’m also thankful for a delusional mindset and being comfortable in whatever size skin and clothes I’m in.
You can always choose to love your body, and remember that it does so much for you 💕
I still sit in my car for 20 minutes before I work up the nerve to walk out on the driving range alone. Don’t know why, but I’m glad I make myself get out of the car and try.
