Wishing you a beautiful and meaningful Giving Tuesday 💛

We all know someone who pours themselves out endlessly…
They give freely with their words, their time, their compassion, and even their finances. Somehow, no matter how much they give, they always seem to have more to offer.

Scripture gives us a powerful truth about this kind of heart:

“The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.”
— Proverbs 11:25 (NLT)

This wisdom is traditionally attributed to King Solomon — a man the Bible describes as “greater in riches and wisdom than all the other kings of the earth” (1 Kings 10:23). And yet, despite all he had, Solomon’s life was marked by generosity. He spent years building the temple in Jerusalem and openly shared his wisdom so that others could grow.

The truth is, some of the most unhappy people in the world are trapped in selfishness. But anyone who has ever given—whether financially, through mentoring, by offering emotional support, opening their home, or simply showing up—knows this firsthand:

Those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.

Of course, generosity isn’t about giving to get. And God also calls us to set boundaries, protect our peace, and avoid burnout. But the Kingdom of God is an upside-down Kingdom where:

• The last shall be first
• The greatest are servants
• And those who give their life away will find it.

Jesus even honored a poor widow who gave only two small coins—because she gave all she had (Mark 12:41–44).

You don’t need wealth to be generous.
You only need a willing, surrendered heart.

So today, let’s lay aside the mindset of scarcity and embrace a mindset of abundance. Our God has unlimited strength, unlimited power, and unlimited resources.

And when we give from the heart, He pours back into us in ways money can’t measure.
