Maryland owes us nothing!
The last ten years have been nothing but growth, learning, and new experiences as a family.
Now we’re off to see what Chicago has in store for us!
The ten years hit me right before they called my name.
This path was not always linear, clear, or certain, but it was mine.
To God be the glory for seeing me through.
Next we’re headed to Chicago for cardiothoracic surgery residency! But first, a nap!

And as someone who wants to be a leader in medical education, I did just that.

I have three kids. And three degrees.
So for this shoot, I let them pose with me how they wanted.
My kids are not just a part of me, they are woven into this story.
The choices I made, the path that I walked, was completely influenced by them.
And this is how they feel about my journey 😂
