On Friday, Dec. 8 at 1:30pm, Hampden Family Center is scheduled to have a MedStar community health worker onsite to help with recertifications for food stamps and support with other needs. If you were a previous client of the center, please feel free to come by on Friday afternoon.

After nearly 30 years of meeting the needs of Hampden and North Baltimore families, the Hampden Family Center is pausing operations. Amid a challenged economy and fundraising environment, and recent departure of leadership, the temporary closure will allow time to devise a sustainable, actionable plan that returns the Hampden Family Center to its mission: enriching residents through education and professional support and encouraging growth and community fellowship. While we take time to search for a new executive director, we thank all of those involved with the heartfelt community efforts to sustain our valued programs.
