As Memorial Day passes, many families may still be carrying feelings of loss, remembrance, and grief. ❤️ Children grieve too—even when they don’t always have the words to express it. Sometimes the most powerful thing we can say is: “You are not alone, and it’s okay to feel this way.”

Parenting little ones comes with big emotions—for children and caregivers alike. 💛
When parents feel supported, seen, and cared for, children are better able to grow, learn, and thrive. Remember: you don’t have to do it all perfectly. Sometimes the most important thing a parent can hear is, “You’re doing better than you think.” 🌱

Parenting starts with caring for yourself, too. Take time to recharge, ask for support, and give yourself grace. 💙

To every mom and maternal figure: your mental health matters. Take a moment for yourself, lean on your village, and set boundaries that protect your peace. You pour so much into others—don’t forget to pour into yourself.
This Mother’s Day, let self-care be part of the celebration. 🌸
Infant and Toddler STEM Day was a hands-on, engaging training where educators explored what STEM looks like for our youngest learners. Participants discovered ways to support early problem-solving and curiosity, tested classroom-ready STEM materials, and connected with fellow educators and the BCCCRC Early Childhood Coaches. Each participant also left with a STEM kit to bring learning back to their programs!
