Self-Care Retreat 9-1pm
*Details at bottom of post!*

The older I get, the more I realize that self-care is really just being present with yourself in as many moments as you can.

It’s taking an intentional pause and asking the question, “How am I?”

And listening for the answer. Or as they say in yoga, staying for the exhale.

Because once the answer arrives…

I’m sad.
Overwhelmed.
Scattered.
A little lost.
Worried.
Exhausted.
Afraid.
Unsure of what’s next.

Then we can sit with it. We can validate it. We can tend to it.

I’ve found that it’s the resistance and self-judgement to what is present for us that often causes the most suffering.

And so by intentionally showing up to ourselves with curiosity and courage, we can move through whatever is holding us back.

Join me for a morning of yoga, paddle boarding and empowerment this Saturday with at Sparrow’s Point Country Club. 9-1pm. Limited spots available!
