Last month I had the pleasure of returning to speak for my 4th year at The Peculiar Conference while sharing insights on "Future-Proof Filmmaking" after being voted back in the top to return. 🚀

But what makes this experience even more special is that I’m not just a speaker, but also one of the organizers behind the scenes. Throughout the year, I help plan and manage the community events, create all the marketing, and donate so much time like it's a part-time job. And the thing that make's it worth it is simply being a part of the community.

Over the past 7 years I've spent in this industry, this group is unlike anything I’ve experienced and it's truly a treasure in of itself. This community lifts each other up, inspires growth, keeps people connected, and reminds me that we’re always learning, evolving, and pushing boundaries together.

It's an important reminder that treasure at the end of the road was actually the journey itself. It's the people we meet, the impact we create along the way and how we can change lives. 🙌

I hope I've had a positive impact on this community as much as it's had on me because the riches I've been looking for I already own.
